The examination rooms are the main
out-patient working areas. We have four of them, each specialized for different
types of patients. Here healthy pets receive their physical examinations
and preventive care. Sick or injured pets begin the investigative process that
will result in a diagnosis and a treatment plan. New puppies and kittens have
their first checkups, complete with hugs and treats. Terminally ill animals
receive the blessing of a dignified and gentle end to their suffering. Laughter
and tears are all in a day's work.
