Our Management Team

 

Barb & ButtersBarbara  joined IWVC in June 2004 as our Practice Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in this complex field. Barb has a Bachelor of Arts from the Art Institute of Cincinnati. Since beginning her career in Veterinary Hospital Management, Barb has furthered her education at veterinary conferences including the Central States Veterinary Conference and the AAHA Annual Meeting.

At home, Barb and John have 6 cats: Bruizer, Chanter, Montana, Raven, Sywren and Uther. She is an active supporter of such rescue organizations as Forgotten Felines and Alley Cat Allies. In her spare time Barb enjoys painting, drawing, hiking, gardening and especially cooking.

Barb says "We need a wiser, more mystical concept of animals."  She also feels that "Life is what you make it."

Blair D. KusiakThe Director of Facilities and Engineering at Indian Walk, Blair D. Kusiak, P.E., is responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of the building, equipment and systems that make IWVC a world-class veterinary facility.

Blair received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1974. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in PA and NJ, a Certified Plant Engineer, and a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Blair is  the Founder and C.E.O. of Innoventive Engineering, P.C., offering engineering consulting, project management and specialty fabrication services.

In addition to work, Blair volunteers his time  as a member of the Wrightstown and Upper Makefield Technical Review Boards.

Blair's hobbies include automobiles, metalworking and woodworking, and playing with the family pets, who share him with his wife, Dr. Lil.

Blair's world view can be summarized in the words of F. Porsche:
"Change is easy; to improve is difficult."
