Rabbit Recipe

Daily Diet for an adult 5 Lb. Bunny

Adjust quantities based on your rabbit’s weight.

 

Pellets: 1/8 to 1/4 Cup, preferably Timothy-based, such as Oxbow® brand.
 
Hay:  Unlimited Mixed Grass or Timothy.
NO ALFALFA! (can cause kidney problems)
 
Veggies:  1 Heaping Cup of mixed  

 

Broccoli

Dandelions (NO insecticide or weed spray!)

 

Cabbage

Green Peppers

 

Carrots (with tops)

Kale

  Cauliflower
 

Mustard Greens
 

Fruits: 

1 TB of unsweetened

 

Apple

 

Banana

 

Berries

 

Pears

 

Raisins
 

Avoid Crackers, Bread, Cake, Cookies.
These can ferment and cause intestinal distress!
